To convert a Celsius value to the corresponding value in Kelvin, just use the formula:

[K] = [°C] + 273.15

What is Celsius Scale

The Celsius scale was invented in 1742 by the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius. It was initially defined by the freezing point of water and later changed its definition as being the melting point of ice. 100° C was defined as the boiling point of water. The Celsius scale is a derived scale once its defined in relation to the Kelvin temperature scale. 0 (zero) °C is exactly equivalent to 273.15 K, with a temperature difference of 1 °C equivalent to a difference of 1 K, meaning the unit size in each scale is the same.
The Celsius temperature scale is sometimes referred to as the 'Centigrade' scale. Centigrade means divided into 100 degrees. The following formulas can be used to convert a temperature from Celsius (°C) value to other temperature scales:

Celsius to Delisle[°De] = (100 − [°C]) × 3⁄2
Celsius to Fahrenheit[°F] = [°C] × 9⁄5 + 32
Celsius to Kelvin[K] = [°C] + 273.15
Celsius to Newton[°N] = [°C] × 33⁄100
Celsius to Rankine[°R] = ([°C] + 273.15) × 9⁄5
Celsius to Reaumur[°Ré] = [°C] × 4⁄5
Celsius to Romer[°Ro] = [°C] × 21⁄40 + 7.5

What is Kelvin Scale

kelvin is the fundamental unit of the Kelvin scale, an absolute temperature scale named after the British physicist William Thomson, Baron Kelvin. This scale is based on the definitions of the Centigrade scale and the experimental evidence that absolute zero is -273.15 °C. The following formulas can be used to convert a temperature from Kelvin (K) value to other temperature scales:

Kelvin to Celsius[°C] = [K] − 273.15
Kelvin to Delisle[°De] = (373.15 − [K]) × 3⁄2
Kelvin to Fahrenheit[°F] = [K] × 9⁄5 − 459.67
Kelvin to Newton[°N] = ([K] − 273.15) × 33⁄100
Kelvin to Rankine[°R] = [K] × 9⁄5
Kelvin to Reaumur[°Ré] = ([K] − 273.15) × 4⁄5
Kelvin to Romer[°Ro] = ([K] − 273.15) × 21⁄40 + 7.5
